    2. Through thick and thin my car has been there for me, and cars will always be there for me. Can't say the same about my past girlfriends.

As for dream car? So many to choose from. I'll go for a realistic obtainable one in the next 5 years; hawkeye STi cobb stage 2 sitting on BBS RG-R rims

  3. Why are you impressed by a girl in an automatic M3, which was most likely purchased by her Parents?

I hate to say this, but when women purchase Sports cars it always feels like a waste. They always drive automatic. They never take their car to the track. Never mod or do their own maintenance.

Pisses off real enthusiasts such as myself, who actually do race their cars.

    1. SMG transmissions can still be fun, and put down better 0-60 numbers ;)

and all the girls I know driving these kinds of cars are enthusiasts. The one's that only car about brand drive 328i, C320, X3, Lexus IS 250, etc.

    4. wowwww, im actually pissed off. first of all , i have an m3 and its NOT an automatic, and NOT purchased by my parents. It's guys like you who thinks they know so much, and that women are not into cars. Why are you still in university if you have these discriminating thoughts. oh, and i can probably beat you any day, idiot.

    5. @3e, how could you afford an M3 without the help of your parents?

A M3 starts at 70k, probably 10-15k in taxes and fees. Even if you worked all throughout high school and university, there is little to no way you could make that much money.

Of course, that is assuming you aren't a mature student.

Either way, hats off to you, for not relying on your parents.

    10. You spent 25k on a car while you're still in university? Who pays for your tuition, rent, & living expenses? Don't tell me it's co-op, because I am in co-op & there is no way you could afford all that on co-op money.

I have zero respect for spoilt brats like you.

    11. @3.k

lol... new poster on this thread, but before university, i worked part time teaching music and saved up to 20k before university even started so with scholarships and bursaries and osap, you can easily afford some nice things (i'm not in co-op so maybe you don't get osap if you're on co-op or some shit, no idea)

anyway, please don't assume shit just because you haven't seen it in your life

    12. @3k, I just spent almost 30k on a brand new car, paid for it through co-op and money saved while in high school and working before Uni.

I don't pay rent, because I live at home. But I will agree that anyone who lives on their own and owns a car at this age is generally a spoiled brat.

    13. @3.f assuming she bought it new? Seriously people buy cars new, especially this demographic? pfft. I guess if it was an F80 M3 you'd be correct, but the first one was just delivered in Dubai last week. I have a friend who bought an E46 for 17k, lives at home and saved up.

    2. 3 Here...

My comment was directed to Women who purchase automatic sports cars and don't track them. The area I grew up around was plagued by "racer girls" driving automatic mustangs, which left a sore taste in my mouth.

I have nothing but the utmost respect for anyone who tracks their car.

I apologize if my generalization offended you (and other ladies out there driving cars they track).

That being said, I am a frequent track goer, and have yet to see a single lady at Mosport or cayuga. Looking forward to seeing you ladies at DDT sometimes.

    3. You respect/don't respect women based on whether they race cars and change their own oil? I'm over here thinking you're an idiot for owning a race car period and think racing is no where near as fun as it is expensive, wasteful, and BORING to listen to people talk about. What now?

  6. Then try not to be a sexist asshole about it next time.

If you have a problem with girls buying automatic sports cars, not going to a race track with them, not doing their own maintenance, etc., would you have a problem with men doing the same thing?

The fact that they were women should have absolutely nothing to do with you disliking people who buy an automatic sports car. The comment was sexist, and was rightfully blasted. If you don't want to come across as sexist, don't say sexist shit.

The shitty sorry-not-sorry apology doesn't help either. You are either sorry you offended, or you're not. You didn't apologize for making a shitty statement. You apologized for offending someone by making that statement, not for having made that statement in the first place.

"Autistic children should live in the middle of butt-fuck no where to not be a plague on our society!"
"That's a horribly offensive statement you just made!"
"I apologize if my statement offended you! Still think it's true though!"

    Seriously.
