  10. As a guy I have to say that this comment should go both ways. I understand that when a guy approaches a girl it shows his confidence which many women find appealing, however, as a guy I can also say that confidence is sexy on ANYONE! The most attractive thing a girl can do for me is to introduce herself, show she is interested, and be competent at conversation.
    I love it when women approach me no matter how intimidated they may feel. More, I respect women who do this because I often do the exact same thing and I understand how scary it is to start talking to a stranger, and how strong a person has to be to overcome (or at least ignore) that fear.

    TLDR: If you (man or woman) see someone attractive on campus (heterosexual or homosexual or otherwise), start a friendly conversation.
