MISSED CONNECTION: I am falling in love with a brown guy who would never be allowed to marry or bring home a white girl and it is honestly the most soul crushing thing that my skin colour has sealed my fate on this one.

  1. Are..... are you sure about that? Have you spoken to him about it? I dated a brown guy for a loooong time and his parents never had any issue with it...

  3. Don't give up so easily. If he loves you, then it will all work out.

  5. These kinds of posts are so stupid to me. I can tell you haven't talked to him at all about it, and that you don't really care about the relationship anyways because you've already sort of capitulated.

Also wtf are you thinking about marriage for, why do people always treat relationships as if they have to turn into marriages?

    1. Probably because if you are hoping for long term and not a brief fling, then marriage tends to come up. Plus if the guy's parents are traditional then they will expect him to get married and not just be 'not married' to a white girl. - Not OP

  6. Just tell him. If he doesn't respond the same, you'll know you can just move on...

  7. OP is clinically insane. how the fuck do you know that? last i checked it was white people with racial intolerance issues in dating... most brown ppl and families are welcoming of interracial relationships... you're sealing the fate on yourself, bitch, and making some fucked up assumptions

  8. Honestly, talk to him, I'm brown, I have a fairly conservative family but we have people from all around the world in my family... assuming helps no one, you're loosing someone you may love and he's unknowingly losing you.
