MISSED CONNECTION: I had somewhat of a missed connection with you about 3 years ago. Back then you asked me out, but I hadn't talked to you that often and didn't know you well enough to be comfortable with starting a relationship, so I turned you down and asked that we be friends.
So for these past couple years, we hung out as friends, and I discovered how much I like your personality and like who you are. And it's only been until recently that I've become aware of the fact that I think I've developed romantic feelings for you.
Currently I'm afraid to tell you this. There are a couple of reasons why I can't tell you, but the main reasons are that it's been so long, you likely don't feel the same way about me anymore, and I don't want to do anything to jeopardize the friendship that we've built up, and that I greatly treasure. I just want to let you know that I hope who you find happiness, and that I think you're something really special. Even if you don't feel the same way about me anymore, I'm happy knowing that at one point, you did like me. :)
Congrats, you win the stupidest person award. You didn't know each other well enough to be in a relationship so you said let's just be friends? Good call. I mean it's not like there's this thing inbetween being friends and having a relationship people do called dating to get to know each other better. Way to go. No one as stupid as you deserves to date anyway; too much chance of passing on those idiot genes.
ReplyDeleteEasy there, buckaroo. Stay on the saddle.
DeleteI am willing to bet the OP is brown and thinks dating means being in a relationship socially or thats what his/her friends make him/her think. Sadness.
